Hello friends!!
I have often found people talking negatively in my workplace. In fact, where I worked in past years, people used to get bored with their normal routine and used to talk negatively, all the time. Thank God, I have been reading positive mindset books and watching some videos for the last few years. But what could be the reason behind these negative thoughts? Let’s discuss this a little more briefly.
Let me tell you the types of negative thoughts and emotions –
a) Catastrophizing – means, blowing something drastically out of proportion in a bad way.
b) Mental Reading – means, assuming you are fully aware of all the thoughts and emotions of others, particularly those directed towards you.
c) Emotional appreciation – when we maintain that something is true despite the fact that our emotions are the only thing that support it.
And a lot more….
NOW, THE BIG QUESTION – WHAT IS THE MAIN CAUSE OF NEGATIVE THOUGHTS? 🥴

I am unable to identify a single primary cause for negative thinking since it stems from an intricate network of interrelated dynamic factors. The main cause of a negative thought pattern varies substantially based on the individual thinking negatively, their personal background, their triggers, and their state of mental health at the time. Regardless of the actual cause of our negative thought patterns, each of us may take action to give ourselves the strength to overcome them and become independent of their impact. Another reading is our surroundings- to whom we stay with along the day. We should ask ourselves – Are those people negative or positive? Since there are many reasons of negative thinking but we can rid off from these.
HOW??
- Gratitude Journal – A Gratitude Journal is a personal journal where you regularly write down things you are grateful for. How to maintain it? Every day, set aside a little period of time to write in your gratitude journal. This can be done whenever it’s convenient, such as in the morning or right before bed. Give specific examples of your gratitude. It could be more little things like a great meal or a stunning sunset, or it could be larger things like family, friends, or health.
- Benefits of Gratitude Journal – (Improved Mood) Taking stock of your life’s good moments and characteristics will help you feel happier overall and improve your mood. (Increased Positivity) Even in difficult situations, you may change your perspective to one of positivity and optimism by concentrating on your thankfulness. And, Writing in a thankfulness notebook before bed may enhance the quality of your sleep, according to studies.
- Positive Affirmations – A positive affirmation is a word or phrase that is deliberately used to encourage optimistic thinking and self-determination. They are usually meant to combat self-doubt or negative thoughts, and they are brief, straightforward, and written in the present tense.
- Benefits of Positive Affirmations – Affirmations help you focus on what is positive and achievable, which promotes a more upbeat attitude on life. Through the instillation of positive thoughts about oneself, regular affirmation practice can improve one’s sense of self-worth and self-esteem. By shifting your attention to peaceful and constructive ideas, positive affirmations can help reduce tension and anxiety.

- Reading a book – One of the most beneficial and enriching activities for personal growth, cognitive development, and general well-being is reading. Your brain stays busy and stimulated while you read. As you age, it can prevent cognitive decline and enhance cognitive performance. Reading demands prolonged attention, which might improve your capacity for concentration in other spheres of life. If you want to improve your mindset in a different way, I recommend you to read this book – “The Power of your positive mindset: Transform your mind” by Jason Wolbers 👉 https://amzn.to/3WHdJzJ
- Benefits of Reading a book – Numerous advantages come from reading, such as increased mental stimulation, sharper focus and concentration, better vocabulary and language skills, reduced stress, heightened emotional intelligence and empathy, and ongoing personal growth via knowledge acquisition and cultural awareness. It offers a means of escape and relaxation as well as stimulating imagination, creativity, and critical thinking. All things considered, reading improves life by extending horizons, increasing comprehension, and fostering general wellbeing.
In conclusion, choosing positivity over negativity is a transforming mindset that enables us to face life’s obstacles with grace and resiliency. It goes beyond simply keeping a positive attitude. We may increase the amount of happiness, thankfulness, and possibilities in our lives by practicing positivism. This change in viewpoint not only promotes healthier relationships and helps us reach our full potential, but it also improves our mental and emotional health. Let optimism be your beacon of hope, showing you the way to a happier, more satisfying life.
