It is essential to base your goal-setting on your desires. Establishing attainable goals helps ensure that you won’t hesitate to take action when the time comes. Even though I’m still not very good at making goals, I always try to let my actions speak louder than words. To attain your desired outcomes in life, you should be aware of when to establish a specific goal.

Establish a Trigger – Before acting, you always consider a course of action. Before acting or completing that duty, something always comes up in your mind, isn’t that right? Because every thought originates in the mind, always think positively. Your thoughts will positively stimulate your actions if you give it the correct direction. A “trigger” in psychology is a stimuli that resurrects a distressing memory. You let your mind to manufacture triggers that open and close you, as I mentioned earlier. Give that up. Have the courage to stand out. Savor every moment of life.
Be consistent – It’s a terrific idea to develop and use consistency in your life. Achieving defined objectives is essential for maintaining consistency. You should constantly be consistent in all you do, whether it’s creating reels or posts on social media, posting videos on YouTube, writing a few pages a day for your new book, or working on an impending project. The outcome is determined by your level of consistency in working on the task until it is finished. I only published four or five posts in my first two years of beginning WordPress blogs, so I realized how important consistency is. After watching a fantastic YouTube video, I am now consistent in my posting of content for my visitors on this site.
Track progress – Progress is crucial but tracking that progress makes it meaningful. Whatever you plan (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) you must track your progress. It helps you analyze where your efforts are going and can analyze the results. For example, you have setup a goal to read a book (360 pages) in one month, ideally you should read 12 pages per day, but you are reading 4 or 5 pages daily. With tracking, you will have a clarity where your time going and which area you need improvement. So, I hope from now on, you track your progress whatever you do. Make it a habit and see the results.
Stay Accountable – I would have been utilizing accountability for a long time if I had known what it was and how beneficial it is. According to Google, accountability refers to the state or quality of being responsible. To put it plainly, an accountable person bears full responsibility for their actions and is required to provide a convincing justification. For instance, if an employer doesn’t hold his staff members responsible for their conduct, they will just act as they like. A successful businessman takes responsibility for his company’s advancement and does not entirely delegate it to others. Finally, you have to take responsibility for your actions.
Overcome setbacks – Life may be really exciting at times. To use Kick’s terminology, I’m not talking about a Bollywood film here; rather, I’m referring to a famous actor named Salman Khan’s dialogue. Throughout your life, you will encounter numerous obstacles as you pursue your goals. On certain days, your spouse or wife may be displeased that you are not spending time with them and your family since you are not providing them the time they desire. However, since this is your life, you ought to know how to end them. Setbacks are characterized as unforeseen difficulties or impediments that impede development or the accomplishment of objectives. Because of this, every kind of difficulty is different and calls for a specific strategy to overcome and recover from it.
